FAQs
How is EPHS different from traditional clinics?
Timely Access - Traditional autism evaluations can take months, families face long waitlists, confusing systems, and uncertainty about where to start. EPHS’ process centers on our professional behavioral analysis and physicians to offer fast relief.
How does this assessment work?
We combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. Getting started is simple. You can sign up for a telehealth appointment through our Healthie portal. Our staff will schedule a Zoom screening for you with a BCBA. After the Physician reviews the data they will schedule a second call to determine diagnosis.
Do you accept insurance?
We do not bill insurance directly. However, upon completion of services, families receive a detailed superbill that may be submitted to their insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Reimbursement eligibility varies by plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm out-of-network diagnostic coverage.
Will insurance accept this diagnosis?
Diagnostic reports are completed and signed by licensed physicians and include DSM-5 criteria mapping and medical requirements. Insurance acceptance varies by plan and state. We encourage families to verify coverage with their insurance provider directly.
Is this a full therapy program?
EPHS is a diagnostic and care navigation platform. We serve as a starting point for individuals and families to gain clarity. If screening suggests autism or another developmental concern, we guide you toward the appropriate next path and support.
Do you evaluate for all ages?
We evaluate both children and adults!
What tools do you use?
Everything in our portal is HIPAA compliant and secure. Healthie is a trusted portal that handles communications, file sharing, and scheduling to ensure your privacy. Their HIPAA-compliant Zoom integration lets us conduct telehealth group calls that you can trust. The behavioral assessments we run for patients meet the standards necessary for diagnosis.
Why use EPHS for your child’s autism diagnosis journey?
Early clarity changes everything. We provide a structured, clinically guided autism screening process that gives parents clear next steps without long waitlists or unnecessary delays.
Is telehealth evaluation reliable?
A: Our screenings are conducted using validated developmental screening tools, BCBAs support the process through structured data collection and clinical synthesis, and all diagnoses are made by a licensed physician through a live telehealth visit.
